Prayer indeed works, but it’s not all prayers that work. Faith is required for receiving anything from God. Prayer of faith is the prayer that works.
Faith is engaging God’s capacity for delivery through the prayer altar. Every time we get on the prayer altar, we are engaging God’s capacity for delivery.
Faith is in degrees:
- There is a degree of no faith.
“But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” ~ Mark 4:40
- There is a degree of little faith.
“But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.” ~ Matthew 8:26
- There is a degree of great faith.
“Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.” ~ Matthew 15:38
- There is a degree of supernatural faith – spirit of faith.
“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:13
If you engage no faith, you get no result. If you engage in little faith, you will get little result. If you engage with great faith, you will get great results. If you get a supernatural spirit of faith, you will get supernatural results.
The point is we need to grow our faith, no matter what level of faith we are at the moment.
Faith is a growing force. Anything that can grow can also die. So our faith is either growing or dying. We must strive to always grow our faith.
The subject of faith is not optional but it is compulsory. It is a principal subject that none of us must fail.
The just shall live by faith means, our faith determines our level of living.
What our physical and biological heart is to our physical body, is what faith is to our spiritual life. Faith failure is a spiritual heart failure.
Every heart failure that is not quickly arrested will lead to death. None of us will suffer faith failure any longer, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Growing our faith is a personal, non-transferrable responsibility. No one can grow the faith of another person for him or her.
How do we grow our faith?
We can always engage the power of the Holy Ghost by praying in the spirit. Jude 1:20, Romans 8:26. I Corinthians 14:15.
To pray in spirit means to pray in tongues. We should make it a point of duty to pray in tongues on a regular basis, as we do that, our faith continues to grow.
God will only give us what we demand for in prayers. We don’t receive what we don’t ask for.
As we pray in the Holy Ghost, our faith will continue to generate results.
