Faith Speaks

Faith speaks in spite of odds. Faith speaks to affirm the known but unseen. Faith speaks to uplift the dying soul. Faith speaks to activate new beginnings. Faith speaks to move mountains.

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

 ~ Mark 11:23 (NKJV)

The key phrase in this context is “Whoever says.”

It’s not only Prophets and Pastors. Yes, they have authorities, and we appreciate the grace of God in them.

The bible says, “Whoever.” That means anyone can take hold of that opportunity in Christ, summon up the confidence from within and take authority according to the Word of God and speak to any situation.

The most important question is, “What are you saying by faith?”

It’s one thing to say a lot of things anyhow in prayers. It’s another thing to purposefully and diligently make specific declarations according to the word and will of God.

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

~ Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

Being diligent in faith implies that we are detailed, specific, direct, earnest and careful. We may write out those things we want, and declare them by faith.

Jesus was specific about speaking to ‘this mountain’. Throughout the record of His works in the books of the Gospel, he spoke directly and specifically to situations, and instant miracles happen.

He has given us such power and authority to speak to mountains, and we will continue to speak because we believe.

May our faith rise and speak to those mountainous situations, and we will begin to experience great joyful testimonies. Amen.
