Choice of Life and Death

Life and death are the most important things that matter to every person on earth. Life is the existence, while death is the end of a human being here on earth.

Everybody wants life. Nobody wants to die.

For clarity, we refer here to eternal life and eternal death. This explicitly transcends our existence on this earth.

So what is the way out?

How do we choose life and not death?

It is clear in Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

So, any sinful life has a certain expected result – which is death, and death eternally.

While a sinless life, which is yielded and committed to Jesus Christ our Lord has a certain expected result – eternal life.

Deuteronomy 30:19

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

Since God has given us that will-power to choose life or death, it therefore becomes most critical that we totally yield our lives to Jesus Christ and His righteous living, so we can enjoy life eternal.

The most amazing thing about having an intimate relationship with Jesus is that we have the strong support of the Holy Spirit to help our will as soon as we are ready to yield to Jesus.

As a matter of fact, the Holy Spirit is always looking out for us, and using every possible medium to guide us into eternal life, that is only available in Jesus Christ.

Now is the best time to submit our will to the Holy Spirit for help, and yield our life to Jesus Christ totally.

Our will to submit to Jesus Christ is the only requirement to access eternal life.
