Shine Bright

You can only shine bright to the strength of your power source.

When the power behind your light is of high voltage, your light will shine brighter. And when the power becomes weak, the light will also go deem

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

Isaiah 60:1 (NIV)

Light is ineffective and almost useless when it’s deemed. Everyone and every good thing are attracted to whatever shines bright. The brighter it is the attractive it gets.

Little wonder why a life that shines so bright is quite attractive to everyone. Our light exist ultimately in the life of Jesus, the Word of God.

“In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.”

John 1:4 (NIV)

The life of men is meant to shine bright in this dark world. And the only way to shine bright as a Christian is when you are powered by the Lord Jesus Christ.

“See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.”

Isaiah 60:2 (NIV)

It’s no doubt that when we consistently lead a life of persistent prayers and meditation on the word of God, the light of the Lord pops up in our hearts.

Shinning bright is easier for every Christian because we have direct access to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is primarily available to empower us to shine bright and light up our world with our good works.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8 (NIV)

Other lights may fail, but your never light will never go deem when you are powered by the Holy Spirit. The more intimate you are with the Holy Spirit, the more empowered you are to shine brighter and brighter even until the perfect day.

Today, the Holy Spirit comes upon you afresh, in the name of Jesus. You will receive the unction to function on purpose with precision and achieve enviable heights in your endeavors, by God’s mercy.

You will begin to experience fresh grace to spend time with the word of God, become more intimate with Holy Spirit, and shine bright in your world, in the name of Jesus.
