Serving God pays heavily. Serving God with an appointment mentality enhances our high level of engagement and productivity
Luke 10:1
After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.
Appointment means you have an engagement that has specific returns.
Every believer has an assignment that is called the ministry of reconciliation
The moment we start serving, we activate our appointment with God.
John 4:34-35
My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
Until you engage, you are not permitted to receive the reward of your appointment.
The organization you work with determines the kind of wages you receive. When you work for God you are working for the Most High. It means you can expect the high remuneration that is beyond imagination
Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us
When we connect God in stewardship we are engaged in an inexhaustible resource space.
Exodus 23:25-26
Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.
We will serve, but God will bless us. God guarantees us fruitfulness and long life. All organizations in the world will give you insurance, but God will give you assurance.
James 5:4
Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty.
Keeping back wages is fraud. When we serve God, our wages and blessing are guaranteed by Him.
When we engage, we are due for our wages. When we engage in soul winning, and persist towards our productivity in evangelism, God will surprise us.
PRAYERS:
God, I receive grace to engage with an appointment mentality.
