Prayer of faith is the prayer that work.
Prayer Works.
Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
~ James 5:17
Not every prayer works.
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
~ James 4:3
The ingredient of faith is the difference maker on the altar of prayer. Faith must not be assumed, it must be consciously cultivated.
What is the prayer of faith?
- Prayer of faith engages God’s ability for delivery. Ephesians 3:20, Matthew 9:28. God is a mountain mover, but not every believer knows it. Mark 11:23-24, Matthew 17:20-21
- Prayer of faith engages God’s capacity for delivery. Ephesians 3:20, Act 26:8. God is incredible and can do far beyond our thoughts.
- Prayer of faith engages God’s willingness for delivery. Mark 1:40-45, Luke 5:12-15. When we ask according to His will, He is willing to deliver.
- Prayer of faith engages God’s readiness for delivery. Luke 5:13
Prayer of faith rides on the wings of revelation. You can’t know that He’s able if you have not got a revelation of His will. The revelation of His ability, capacity, willingness, and readiness.
We ride on the altar of the prayer of faith through prayer and fasting. Something great will still happen for you and I in this eleventh hour.
From this week, your prayer and my prayer will work, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
