Christ Gives Glory. How?

Christ gives glory to anyone that is willing to receive it. Jesus came to die, so that our sins and its shame can be taken off our lives.

In Colossians 1:27, Paul says,

“To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Glory and shame are two contrast things that every human being would want to be mindful of in life. The experience of either of the two is a function of many things that might have occurred in our lives.

What does it mean for Christ in you to be your hope of glory? It’s definitely a mystery. But it’s a mystery that God wills to make known to every believer in Christ …and not just to a select few.

Christ Gives Glory | Jesus Reigns

The fear and obedience to the precepts of God simply qualifies us for the glory of God in Christ. When we lead our lives in referential fear of God, we inevitably qualify for the manifestation of His glory in our lives.

This literally means that when we are out of shape with the fear of God in our daily living, then we are disqualified from His glory, and inadvertently gives room for shame.

Of course, we all want to the express manifestation of God’s glory in our lives, thus we need to continually keep in ourselves in check by being obedient to the word of God.
